Last night I completed the epilogue of Volume IV. At one hundred and seven thousand words it is roughly the same length as Rise of Shadows. Because I use an iterative writing process this is pretty close to what the final draft length will be. (more…)

Update on Print Editions of All Books
Tuesday, April 10th, 2012As of right now, all three books are available in paperback form from Amazon Createspace! This move allows me to cut the price of the paperbacks from $14.99 to $7.99! We have received our proof copies and the quality is virtually identical to Lulu, just costs half the price and ships in half the time. It is pretty much a no brainer to switch. (more…)
Update on Print Editions and Volume Four
Monday, March 19th, 2012Rise of Shadows has been out for a little while now, and is selling well! Right now it is out selling Academy 2-1, which means at least some of you have been sitting around waiting for Shadows to come out and are snatching it up now. I have been stalling on producing the hardcover and paperback versions intentionally to allow time for any grievous errors to be noticed by readers. Since none have come in, I plan to start working on them this week. It typically takes a few days to get it submitted, and then I will have to order proof copies, which typically have problems that I will need to correct and resubmit. This process usually takes about a month to work out. I hope it goes better this time, but all I can promise is that work is under way. (more…)
Release date approaching!
Thursday, February 9th, 2012We are making great progress here on preparing the final manuscript to be released. Several pre-readers are working through the book and we expect feedback from them soon. In addition, we have received back from our new editor a marked up manuscript that we are working through. We also have a low-res version of the cover art. So we are poised to release Volume III very soon. I do believe it is the best one yet!
Volume IV is well under way with about seven thousand words written so far. I have not yet decided on a title for it, but it will likely be something like “Era of Darkness” or “Age of Shadows.” Once I make up my mind I will let everyone know.
